2003 Ram acceleration lag

This is a 5.7 4x4 3.55s with a 145k. It doesnt burn oil, runs smooth. Off the line is good, but it you want a 1/2 throttle spirited but not a hell yeah acceleration, its just not there. 3/4 to full throttle, puts a smile on my face.

there is a factory "modification made" sticker that states "flash updated for delayed shift" 6/2004 tsb 18-013-04.

Is this the way they are just programed? Is the a way to adjust the drop down/passing gear?

I have a 2012 Ram Hemi 2500 that's the same way. Seems like you let up on the throttle a little it goes like a rocket. Been dealing with it for 3 years now after swapping parts and no help.

Buy the pedal commander takes that lag out made a difference for me very happy with it
