If you want to test your hazard swich you can use a 150ohm resistor 1/2W between the 2 wires, white/orange(signal 5v) and white/yellow(ground) to turn the hazard function on. The cluster measures the voltage and sends a message to the front control module to flash the turn signals on both sides simultaneously.
Heres the Voltage measured from the white/orange wire while the function is applied or not.
1.Left turn signal switch on 2.0V
2.Right turn signal switch on 3.0v
3. Hazard signal switch on 1.0v
4. No operation 5.0v
I was able to use an 150 ohm resistor on the hazard switch signal to bring the voltage down close to 1.0v and was able to turn them on to condemn the Hazard switch.
Other resistances could be found out so you can show your customer if wanted.
