2004 Ram 1500 4.7L will not go past 45 MPH

I have a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 with a 4.7L engine
The truck will not go past 45 miles per hour
The engine revs but it feels like it will not shift or has no power
Has anyone seen this before?

you need to scan the truck with a good scanner it could mean anything does the engine run smooth? does it feel like it bogs down ? or is the trans just not shifting?

It idles good not as smooth like a sewing machine idle goes up and down slightly I changed all the COPs and spark plugs map sensor throttle body sensor , it bogged down a little I don't know if I cleaned the throttle body good enough. I had battery problems it kept draining dry so the truck stayed without power off and on.

the 4.7 will never idle very smooth however you need to find out if it has a misfire ect. Take it to a shop and have them diag it or your going to keep firing the parts cannon the truck needs to be scanned.
