Hey all, I just recently installed a cam in my truck with the proper springs. The issue im having is it does not want to stay running. It ran fine with the stock pushrods but had a bad valve train noise, i went to look at more specs on the cam and found the recommended pushrod lengths. After installing the new pushrods it does not want to stay running. Does anyone have insight into this? I hope I didn't trash my motor lol

When you are in the .600" +lift range you need to insure you have compatible parts. Valve springs that don't bind with proper seat pressure. And if the spring is weak when open it'll float. Push rod length needs to be measured and proper length used. And the whole mess needs to be stable so as not to tear itself up. And of course this setup requires custom tuning.
To find out if you have mechanical issues I would inspect the plugs and do a compression check to start with.
