My 2005 1500 SLT gas 2wd has been "kicking" around 40-50 mph for a while now. Can't remember how long. My foot is lightly pressing on the gas when it does it. Feels like the truck is shifting gears almost. Like bucking. That's the only way I know how to describe it. Issue is intetmitten, doesnt happen all the time. But a good chunk of the time it does. It's at 127,231 miles. New water pump, new serpentine belt, and transmission flush done at 126,181 miles. Spark plugs were changed maybe about a year or more ago. Can't remember. Oil changes done like clock work, go to dodge ram dealership. Using same gas station. Air filter changed December 2017. TP sensor just changed last week, my mechanic thought that might be the fix but still having the same problem. Next he wants to possibly put new spark plugs. Has anybody else had this issue? I'm lost here. Not sure if it really is the spark plugs. Also, the RPM's only seem to jump maybe a centimeter when the truck makes this motion. They don't go do much when this happens. Somebody please give me your thoughts.
