I have a 2005 2500 Cummins 5.9, and it has about 215,000 miles. Transmission has had an unknown slow leak and is now destroyed, along with possibly the torque converter. When truck is put into drive, there is no response of the engine when the gas pedal is pushed. When put into park, engine can be revved but takes a long time to go down to regular RPM. Is truck worth getting a new transmission and torque converter, or are there other things that will have to be done in order to fix the problems.
