2005 engine starting

I have a 2005 ram 2500, that wont start when cold out. I have changed both heater grid solenoids. when the truck is plugged in starts fine, truck starts fine when engine is warm or warm out side. Problem is when it sits all day and is cold out side vehicle does not want to start unless I use starting fluid, I try not do that. any help would be gratefully helpful.
