2005 Ram 1500 Grinding noise in steering wheel - Clock Spring?

Lately Ive been hearing an odd grinding noise (kind of like a duck quacking) when I turn my steering wheel. From what I've read its probably the Clock Spring. I only have 56k miles but the truck is 21 years old and sits outside so I guess anything is possible. I've been trying to nail down a part number but having some issues. I found this part # "Clock Spring - Mopar (56049795AE)" but when I put in my truck options (Lararmie Package) it says it's not the correct part and I can't seem to find a valid part #. Maybe it's a glitch and its the correct #? Anyone have any thoughts or have the actual part # for it and any advice on this item. I also read a different post about having to do a steering angle position reset with OBD after replacing but that was for a newer model. I wonder if the 05's need that to be done????

Does the noise sound like it's emanating from behind the steering wheel horn assembly, or could it possibly be inside the engine compartment and travelling up the steering wheel shaft?

The steering linkage connecting to the steering box is a standard point of failure on our trucks.
Look for it in the engine compartment.
