2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Switching Out Parts

I had a single cab 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 ST the engine blew. I towed it to my house and it has sat there for the last 3 months. I just bought a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. I’m just wondering if there is any parts that I can swap from my old truck to the new one. Thanks in advance.

With the change in body style from BR/BE to DR and the change in engines/transmissions, electronics
and wiring there is not anything you can use.

If that 2001 Ram 1500 was mine I would already have yanked the blown motor and started my 392/8HP70 swap.

I have a 392 that I built for a truck a year ago and the truck was totalled before the machine work was even completed and I have just been itchin' for a BR/BE truck to put it in.
