2006 Steering Box

I apologize as this has probably been asked before but here goes: When did Dodge go from the 4-bolt steering box to the 6-bolt? Reason I'm asking, I would like to install BD Diesel's steering box brace and there are two different kits based on 4 or 6-bolt. Thanks for your help.

I am pretty sure, from what I have read, the 6 bolt is a MOPAR upgrade from the 4 bolt box...it's much stronger than the others and was released sometime last year, for the 03-08 4WD 2500 trucks...it's part number 68170214AA. So unless you personally upgraded your stock box to this one, you have the 4 bolt box.
