Looking for a cheaper solution to a rebuild of a 2007 DRW RAM 3500 with AAM 11.5 and 4.11 ratio gears. Outer bearing spun, and snapped right rear axle. Needs another hub and spindle on axle tube (and of course axle shaft and bearings, seals, etc).
Would a 2006 DRW axle assembly work on a 2007? Have access to a free one. Just need to confirm the gear ratio is the same, and is not damaged internally.
Have new disc brake rotors on 2007 now, and would like to re-use them, if possible. My son is starting a towing company, and got this tow truck cheap, and we are getting it road worthy and able to pass inspections.
