2008 Ram 1500 Lift Conundrum

So I have been shopping around trying to decide what lift I want to get and keep coming across messages saying 06-07 lifts will not work for 08 trucks... And then there are no lifts for 08 trucks.... What's up with that? How is my truck different than 06-07's?

only difference is a small plate that goes on the top of the strut - that came in mid 08. Most leveling kits don't even account for it (unless you look at Hell Bent Steel). Other than that......no differences. And this little change makes no difference.
