2009 Ram 1500 Integrated Trailer Brake Controller HELP?

I bin looking but finding ones that are 2010-2012. I need one for a 2009. DO you guys happen to know the OEM parts numbers ? Do I need to get the Truck flashed after installing it? Any help would be great. I watched a few U tube Video's but still have questions. THANKS, Cory C

If I remember correctly when I installed mine a few year ago, ( a 2010), 2009 - 2012 were the same, Original part # was 56029431AH - replaced by 56029431AG. You may have to add the one connector, some 2009's had it, some didn't, but I'm sure you seen the youtube video on it. It is not necessary to get it flashed, all that does is make the controller visible in the EVIC, no adjustment to it thru it.

Thank you for the reply. I am still having issues. I have identified the Kit https://parts.chryslerjeepdodgecity...igin=pla&partnerDevice=c&userLocation=1026481 . The Problem is I dont have Ether of the 2 required connectors... The Video showed how to add the one small connector . I have a fixed female Plug under the dash for what I assume is an aftermarket brake controller but I dont have the 2 pig tail connectors needed like the ones shown in the video. So I guess My question now is are those Male/pigtail plugs available separately and if so anyone got a part number on those? I can take a picture under these if that would help but I am assuming its a 2009 Issue? Thanks in advance for the help. Cory C

PS - I just read some info that says the Plug / Plugs are behind the knee kick panel. I will have to pull it and Look to see what I have back there.

i have looked and it seems I have NO plugs in my Truck. I guess its an Early 2009? took a few pics. Anyone have an Idea?

Did you ever solve this? I have a 2009 1500 that I want to install the OEM controller, but it has the blue connector like yours.
