Tickle aint touching my truck, lol. It's a work in progress, I'd say somewhere around 3 or 4 years I will have it all put together. I hope it gives me a least twenty years of service.

It looks like you live somewhere void of the white stuff, so I don't think 20 years is out of the question as long as you take care of her.

Not usually a fan of hanging things off of the front, but I gotta say that is the best looking bumper/guard I've seen for these trucks yet!
(dammit got me thinkin now)
Definately looks made to fit and not "fit all"
Excellent job on the powder coat and color match.
Really looks nice!!:happy160:

Yeah, it is more for function then looks, but I do like the look. I spend a lot of time on country roads and occasional trip to Reno, I need that extra protection. I think the color match leaves it less intimidating, or that's my hope anyway. It will pay for itself the first deer that runs out in front of me.

One follow up, the next time I post will be when I get a gas mileage number for those interested. I got the lights installed, trimmed up fender wells, and most importantly got e level kit and alignment. It is hard to see how stout the truck looks now, but when you see it next to all the neighborhood SUV's, it looks like it can eat them for lunch. The major issue I have is the fog lights. The fab four fog lights are junk, I wish I would have upgraded to PIAA's. When my Visa card rebounds, I will add some Yellow PIAA's to that light bar in the middle of the bumper. Other then that, I can't be happier with the upgrade. I was in like with my truck, but now it is a full blown love affair.

I can't afford a tire/wheel upgrade, but no doubt when I get to that the truck will be done. Nothing left but to enjoy the next decade or two of service from this baby.

Looks good! Just some larger/knobbier tires would make a HUGE difference though. I think it'd look good if you had black wheels. I love that color blue with black wheels though. JMO.

You need to switch to the Reunel Extreme Heavy Duty Rear Bumper...

That is the plan, already have them picked out. Black American Racing wheels 18 inch, that will allow for meatier knobby Toyo's. I wish I could find a picture of the rim, they where literally the only ones that I thought were perfect, that had them in the lobby at les shuab. The wheels are only 800, but the tires are what is going to kill me. looking at nearly 3g's, and that isn't doable for me at this time. Perhaps in a year or so.

That rear Bumper is Burla approved!!

These will be the wheels when I can afford them.

Something like this is my second choice.

I hear ya... Wheels and tires are NUTS! I'm going to put some new ones on my G8 and it's going to be about 700 a wheel, tire and all ready to bolt on.

I'd recommend looking for the lightest/strongest wheel you can find. It makes a HUGE difference.

Just a follow up, gas mileage dropped to a little over 14 with the bumper and level. It wasn't exactly apples to apples trip, but the mpg is down a solid one and closer to 2 MPG's. Have plans on all the breathing upgrades and a tuner, maybe get some back, but I think it is going to be slow going as time and mola at a premium. When i think about why I got the bumper, I am glad to have it, but this aint for everyone.

Gibby, is your ram the sport edition. I want to put this on my truck but a lot of the front end replacements say you can't because there is too much of a gap due to the sport bumper being different. I was curious if you ran into any issues.
