2010 Ram 2500 6.7 suspension improvements

I just recently installed a the carli 3” commuter 2.0 on my 2010 Dodge ram 2500 4x4 but its still a little stiff. I just wanted to know if anyone has any info on how to make the suspension better without breaking the bank. Any Info is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I would reach out to Carli with your concerns and see what they have to say. They have great customer support. I have to say, this is the first time I’ve heard that it’s “ still to stiff”

I got the coils shocks track bar and endlinks

If your carli suspended 2500 is too stiff, I think your gonna need to go to a 1500 lol. It should ride night and day better than stock, and very plush considering its a 3/4 ton.


What is your tire/wheel setup?

Are you still using the factory leafs out back?

i am still using the factory leafs on the truck and my setup is 18 in fuels with 33s

I would think if you swapped out the rear leaves for ones with less payload that would certainly help.

Your issue is prolly the rear. You’re on leafs not springs like 2014+ I believe there is leafs you can buy to soften them up. But some weight in the rear will help it out too

Tire pressure also plays a huge role in ride stiffness

A set of carli or thuren leafs in the back should soften it up some. Can always check places like denver springs as well. Main thing is to get a more progressive spring pack

I’m pretty sure you had meant Deaver spring.

Yes, the front is lifted.

Require? If you want full travel out of your new springs you will want new shocks. You can also use shock extenders to utilize your current shocks.... just make sure you use bumpstop spacers as well.
