8.4 SWAP HVAC ISSUES

i just swapped in a nee 2018 ram radio that has nav and dual climate i have a manyal climate control and everytime i click the ac button i hear the ac kick on but it just blows heater air all the buttons work but it just wokt turn on the cold air, also whem i turn the fan into the 7th it just turns completely off i need help

hvac module and harness are from infotainment

Did your truck have dual climate with the old controls? if not im not sure this will ever work but others will post.

How long has it been since you installed? Sometimes things need to settle in as the radio reads the BCM. Clock start over every time the radio or BCM loose power.

today like 1hour ago but yes i see what you mean the radio went from dual to single zone now but the air is still hot

It'll take it a while to settle in, typically several hours and/or power cycles after power is restored. Do the HVAC buttons respond to input? DOes your A/C button light up?

Did you upgrade from a smaller radio or a prior 8.4?

Where did you get your upgrade harness/parts from?

yes hvac buttons respond and light up also clicking the ac on the buttom and radio makes the compressor click on but no cold air
