The truck started up from what I saw in the video. What did I miss?

How old is the battery? Starter or ignition could be off a little, leaning towards starter if it is everytime the same. How old is the starter? Once started if you shut it off does it again immediately? Do you turn on the radio at the same time the car turned over?

So...is it a delay in starting?

If so ...looks like a classic WIN module issue. Real common on the earlier trucks. Go to youtube and type in 'Ram WIN module' and see if the symptoms match what you're seeing. It's the box behind your key. Easy to get out. Contacts need cleaning, or sometimes a couple solder joints break, that need to be re-flowed with a solder iron. It's not just Ram but other Chrysler vehicles too. There's a ba-jillion WIN module videos on Y/T.

Avoid using heavy keychains on those vehicles.

Yes, if the radio was on and you didnt turn it on, then I would lean to win module as well. Youtube on how to clean it, if you replace it you will need a flash and reprogram fobs.

You can also bypass win module, see your tubes for that, if you do this make sure you don't use hot fuse.

My win module on my 2010 ram 1500 died a few years ago. I would randomly get no starts and then it progressed to randomly shutting off while driving which was always exciting! Finally figured it was the WIN module when I could jiggle the key and the truck would immediately die. Op, I would try gently jiggling your key after the truck starts and see if it dies or if it acts like it wants to cut out.
