2011 2-10 kickers under back seat, pics

Just thought I'd throw the pics up showing what i have. I mounted the kenwood 1800watt mono amp under the drivers side seat on a board so it doesn't slide around. I plan to find a carpet or fabric that matches the black floor eventually.

only downside was I had to remove the fold out floor parts. Subs dont hit the seat and sound great.

Looks great! I've ALWAYS preferred 10's over 12's in a vehicle. I like a more solid hit and a ten always gave me that.

mine aren't hitting as hard right now as they could be where i have a line out converter tapped into the rear speaker leads behind the deck. and have a bass knob hooked up on the RCA's to control bass for each song, but I am planning to upgrade to a kenwood DDX470 next week (outwest for work and only home next week lots of projects on the go!)

For my subs i have my loc connected to the front door speaker because that is were bass mostly comes from.

at the time i was unaware of this. and where i plan to change the deck out and run rca's to the amp I guess it doesnt matter now haha

not 100% sure, i got it from a local shop, he had it kicking around for awhile he told me, regular $299. paid $350 for it and the subs, so i was happy.

I think it might be bassworx as thats what they mostly sell, but could be wrong. as bassworx are normally solid black not grey.

I'd love to see pics of how you mounted the amp. My amp will be roughly 10x10x3 and I got under the drivers seat today and those air vent hook things are right in the wrong spot. Anyone see problems with removing them?

Which ten's are those and what is the ring measurement on your box? I'm planning on only doing one 10 but I'm putting in some pretty serious 6x9's though
