I see most guys who go to wider tires all bump up to 20” wheels. I’d rather keep the stock 17” wheels. Currently my truck has 265/70 17s on it and I’m looking to go 285/75 17s anyone know if they will clear on a completely stock truck. No lift, no leveling.

If not, what can I get away with?

Do you have the wheel specs off hand? Width, offset, etc?

Haha no. On receipt somewhere lol. I think they’re 18x9. Not sure on offset

That’s correct 22hemi13.

Yeah, the 17s are 8 wide. Tire specs are ok for the wheel width however I’m not sure if turning to lock is going to be an issue. I’d prefer not to rub my tires to death because I do a lot of tight maneuvering.

I really don’t want to start piddling with the suspension to fit them, but I’m trying to get something bigger and wider than stock because I keep sinking really bad on wet ground and any extra width helps.
