I have a 2012 6.7 ram that I blew a head gasket and cracked the head so i installed a new head now the truck won’t run?
It ran fine before we installed the new head any suggestions.

Did you install new gaskets?

Did you make sure the timing was correct?

Does it turn over at all??

What check engine lights are on??

Timing would be the first thing that comes to mind

Yes brand new fire ring gasket.

I didn’t do the install I had a performance shop do it and I’m pretty sure they did the timing right.

yes it turns over just not getting fuel all the way back to the fifth and six injector.

i’m getting a high fuel rail pressure code the shop that did the work is telling me that the CP3 dried out and quit working.

I don’t think you need to mess with the timing on just a new head install.

That looks like a lot more the just a head gasket install? Is all that new? Did you have new tuning installed at the same time?

Timing is not affected by a head gasket change so it wouldn't be that.

No new tuning and the second GEN swap was already done before the head.

It’s not just a head gasket install it’s a brand new fire ring head with fire ring head gasket and Hamilton springs.

There would honestly be quite a lit to check first would be fuel delivery to the cp3, then with a quality test kit check pressure to the rail, wiring harness for the injectors which is a part of the valve cover gasket, make sure that none of the injector studs for the wires got snapped, how old are the injectors and were they checked by a shop with an actual flow bench?, new injector gaskets?, valve clearance set to .010 intake and .020 exhaust, power going to the injectors, and last but not least tune correct have the tuner check to see if everything is correct.

Those would be my starting points to check after a no start on a head replacement.

Yes they have been at my house a couple days in a roll telling me that the CP3 went out.
They did a pressure check on the injector lines with a block off plate.

Four years ago when I deleted my truck I had a machine shop fire ring my head it cost me $5000 and they gave me a lifetime warranty on their work.

four months ago my tranny went out and I had it rebuilt with a triple disc torque converter and all the billet parts cost me eight grand!

Two months ago my turbo went out so I decided to do a whirly fab second GEN swap.
My truck ran great except I noticed a bubbling in my radiator reservoir,
So I ran some test and found out the head gasket was blown.
Which was covered under my warranty, so they pulled the head off and found out that it had cracks all around the valves.
So I bought a new firing head with gasket and they installed.
Have you heard of a CP3 going out that had no issues Before they remove the head?
