Are the small dash speakers even hooked up in my truck? I can't here them at all. I didn't know there were any speakers installed before I popped the grills out. Any info on this will be a big help.
Thanks, Bill

I couldn't hear mine in my 2015 until the DSP in the amp brought them to life.

pull em out and either watch/feel the cone when music is playing or meter the wires when music is playing.

I have a 2015 with the 5.0 with the stock speakers. What's and easy and effective way to upgrade?

Depends if you want to just change the speakers out, or, add a 4.1 amp to power the factory speakers. This will be available mid November.
But just swapping out the factory speakers can be done anytime.

The Kicker Mopar speakers are a direct fit, and factory plug and play.

Need to make my front kicker dash speaker 8 ohm. Anyone care to show me how?

Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk

I boxed my 4-ohm speakers and send them back to crutchfields. 4-ohm there did not sound pretty. I don't think there is a way to make those little speakers change impedance because they are a single voice coil.

Thanks Guys, I did pull the drivers side speaker out and I cant see it or feel it working. I had the 130 with uconnect but changed out to a 430 rbz last month. the radio change was just plug n play.

I took out the 4 ohm ones and put back the 8 ohm stock ones in the dash. Sounds a little better, less bright.

Hope your car insurance will cover when that resistor starts a fire with the fabric under the dash. That thing is going to get hot. Even if it holds up it will sound worse.

I would NOT recommend adding a resistor. It is going to soak up a lot of the power. Why not just play at 4 ohms?
