2012 express sport wheel question

i have a 2012 express sport 1500 4x4 with the 20" factory aluminum wheels. i would like to get a set of wheels for winter use and put a little more aggressive tread on for winter, but keep the 20's for summer.
so i have searched on here for an answer to this and cannot seem to find one.
will 17" wheels fit on my truck? i see a lot of 17" dodge ram wheels for sale fairly cheap. also looked at aftermarket wheels too.

so what will fit? 17... 18 maybe? it seems the 17" will fit since some of the trucks come from the factory with 17" wheels. just wondering if the rotors/calipers are the same on the factory 17" trucks or will it be a clearance issue?

any help would be great. hate to buy a set to find out they dont fit

1 other question... and please excuse my lack of knowledge (i owned a chevy until march of this year, long story...powerless truck, bad tranny) do i need to do anything about a tire pressure monitor system? my "user guide" that came with the truck only states for the 2500 model. so the 1500's dont have a monitor system? that would be great!!!! lol. i dont like those things!

ok... spoke too soon. read the other manual... there is a monitor system
can the monitors be removed and reinstalled on other wheels?
