I noticed today when I backed my truck out of the garage, a wet spot on the concrete. It is right behind the front passenger side tire. I crawled under the truck and the shock/strut assembly is wet. The fluid is kindy sticky/oily. Anyone know what it might be? Truck is a 2012 with 9400 miles. Are the factory shocks oil or gas filled? Thanks for any help!

Yeah your shocks are probably toast, they should be able to replace them if you have warranty, I had this happen on my 2008 Sport, at around 26000 miles.

Yeah, in my experience shocks are one of those things that can be hit or miss for quality, no matter who makes them. Good luck, if it's something else let us know to watch for it!!

^+1 If it has only seen pavement and you have less than 10,000mi the dealer will be able to tell, and should warranty it.
