Hello, I am new to the forum, and I come with a problem. The door lock switch on the driver's side door does not lock the vehicle. The passenger side works just fine. I ordered a new panel and installed but the problem persisted. So, because the doors lock from the passenger side and a new driver's side switch panel does not solve the problem, I guess I'm down to wiring.

I searched the web for wiring diagrams without luck. I have a ScanGauge but it reads no codes. I am really not interested in buying a new TIPM right now so any help would be appreciated.

You might remove the inner door panel on the drivers side
There are several videos on how to do that

Most of the wiring is now exposed & you can see the metal rods that work the door locks.
Connect the door master switch back up, with the panel set aside
Work the different buttons on the master switch & see what is working or not.
You will notice a rubber square flap, maybe 5 X 5
roll up your window. Then press the master switch LOCK button & listen to any noise. pressing the Lock & Unlock button should make the Door Lock Actuator move.
You can look at the door latch on the edge of the door & i think you can see something moving if you have electricity going there.

Do NOT bend those metal rods, they seem rather fragile

I have a 2012 RAM 1500 and I'm having the same issue. I can lock /up lock the doors from the passenger's side controls. From the driver's side everything works EXCEPT the lock button. I was going to order a new switch assembly, but now im not so sure.
