Replacing motor. Looking at removing radiator support bracket versus removing hood. Seems like a lot of work to remove radiator support bracket. What is required to remove the radiator support? Only wrist deep in project, not elbow deep...yet. Should I just pull the hood instead? Working in my garage.

Just one question ... I have. 2012 with 96K miles ... Why are you having to replace the motor ?

Would it make it easier to remove both, yes. I am way past elbow deep on mine. I just have my block sitting in there attached to the trans.

I’m thinking of putting a jack under her and just lowering the block and sliding out from under the truck.

Mine also has a 6”lift and 35’s so I think I can do that :)

How heavy is just the block alone, anyone?

If I recall correctly isn't the crossmember under the engine welded to the frame? Also are you leaving the trans in place & just removing the engine? It's a lot messier removing both together.
