2012 ram Express, 1500

I have a 2012 ram Express 1500. I changed out my gauge cluster for the digital read out and now I can’t get to the information I can only go up and down. How do I get the steering wheel buttons to work? Is it all plug-in play if I get a steering wheel with the up down left and right

Did you attempt to swap a 2013-later cluster in? If so, they are not compatible with earlier years.
