Welcome. Hell Bent Steel is a sponsor on here and they have great, affordable kits. I've been extremely pleased with my HBS 2.5" level

HBS kit all the way..thats what im running. As far as oil, I too have the 4 free oil changes..but I would use full synthetic, probably Pennzoil.

Bulk oil is gonna be a conventional oil or synthetic blend

Depends, with as common as synthetics are today, they could be getting synthetics in bulk. We ship synthetics all the time in bulk from our plant and yes, some go to dealers.

I've heard that synthetic is the way to go. Anyone use Mobil1 synthetic?

Congrats on the new truck and welcome!!!

I've done quite a bit of research into various oils... the key is less in brand (there's truly not a significant difference - it's completely a preference thing) and more in making sure you use the correct grade, viscosity, etc. (my "FREE" dealership oil changers put 5W30 in my Hemi) and you change it regularly.

I believe the dealers use penzoil. And HBS makes a great leveling kit from what I've heard plus they're a sponsor on here

I'm not sure of the brand but I was disappointed they didn't use 5W20 as specified. My understanding is that 30 weight isn't good to MDS components in cold weather.

i just had my HBS 2.5" kit installed and it looks amazing and doesnt change ride quality at all. as far as oil goes. i got free oil changes from the dealer but im not going to them for that. i run royal purple 5w-20 in my 2012 express quad 4x4. i ran the same oil in my mustang a while back and the engine ran great even at 135k miles. and a k&n oil filter
hope that helps!
