Anyone know what this dial does? It’s in the center console below the 12v plug. I have changed it while driving and don’t notice a difference and the truck isn’t wired for subs/amp. Any help is appreciated.

That doesn't look factory, I'd trace the wires and see where they lead to. If you picked it up used, my bet would be nowhere, previous owner probably removed whatever it was before trading it in.

Yep that's definitely not factory, looks like a bass volume knob but I could be wrong, would just be my guess. But I agree who ever installed that probably took what ever it went to with them

If that's a rotary switch it probably was controlling a tuner for the Cummins. E.g. Stealth has a design like this.

That's the super-rare special order Stealth Dial Shifter for the 545RFE.
The console stick is just for show.

Hi Matt! If that is your real name...

That’s for the flux capacitor. Set it carefully between 4-5 somewhere in the middle but closer to 5. Go to 88 MPH (safely) and bring me back an almanac from the year 2046.

Thanks

Looks like the CSP5 switch for shift on the fly tunes. You can see the 4 and 5 broke off. Is the truck deleted?

There is a rotary throttle control, like a pedal commander, that looks kind of like that.

Did you buy it used? Looks to be a tuner dial for EFI Live or something along those lines. Turn it to 1 and floor it then to 5 and floor it. If it has a tune it will make a difference! lol

As some of the others have said, that is a switch for changing tunes. It looks just like the DSP5 switch that is used for EFI Live tunes, other tuning platforms may use the same switch. If your truck isn't currently tuned, it was.

yup...that's what it is. It appears the truck was tuned at one time or another.
