Has anyone ever had this issue? I recently upgraded the head unit in my 2016 Ram 1500 to a Carplay Mopar unit and upgraded the media hub to one from a Chrysler 200 (fits perfectly with minor filing of the opening) and my carplay and media hub have been working perfectly. Today, my lightening cable is not charging my phone, nor do I have the carplay showing up on the head unit. I'm hoping its a blown fuse and if so, where would this fuse be?

thanks in advance,

Brian

The power for that hub comes through the plug inside the back of the center console.
There's some useful information about power for that hub in this thread:

it had been working fine for months since I did the upgrade over the summer. Today it just stopped working for some reason. Hoping its a blown fuse for some reason.

Try other cables/devices first to see if they charge.

I tried three different cables and same result. So I went out on my lunch break and checked the fuse and it was not blown for the media hub. started up the truck and plugged my phone into the cable and everything worked now. Must have been an electrical gremlin. Damn technology !

Feel the port after its been charging for a while and make sure it's not getting abnormally hot.
