Not that I know of stock in a 2013. Some of the new stuff out has tracking, and other limiters, but not in that 2013. Someone who knows about tuners needs to Chime in, as I wonder if you could limit with a Tune??? Hmmmmmmmmmmm...

Hotrod, I would have been hard pressed to not let my father borrow any vehicle I have owned.

Are you saying you don't trust your dad with your truck?

If that's the case, it might be time to grow a pair and tell him no because you can't trust him to behave. It's not easy, but once you do it you'll have that boundary with him forever.

I went through something similar with my dad last year after his heart attack. Not fun, but mostly they understand, even if they don't like it.

Other vehicles have a valet or teenage mode but not Ram vechicles.

Some insurance companies offer a tool that can be added to the ODB port but that is only for monitoring.

I don't think I've loaned a vehicle to anyone. I've had one or two people ask to borrow a vehicle, but I didn't do it. I've pretty much been of the mind that if my vehicle is needed, I'll be needed, too. My Dad had a full-sized van because of the work he did and he had one for a while even after he retired because he liked to go to flea markets, or even to operate a flea market booth. There was never an occasion that he didn't already have what he needed to do what he wanted to do. That said, ***if*** my Dad had wanted to borrow a vehicle of mine, I would have volunteered to drive it and help him out. It might also be worth noting here that I was out of the house and married when I was 20. A young man, to be sure, but out on my own. It might have been different if I had been still living with my parents and that situation came up. Every guy has his own relationship with his father. If a man feels obligated to loan a vehicle, he'd better be sure first that he is insured for that.

I left when I was 18 for the military. Visited, but never !over at home again. As I said, if my father wanted to borrow my truck, which he did from time to time, he was welcome to it. What the hell, if he wrecked it, I could always get another.

The closest thing to having some "control" might be in the GPS system. IIRC, it is possible to have the system monitor speed and give voice warnings.

That's funny, you have valet & teenager modes and now we need senior modes. Will senior mode send out an automatic silver alert if they're not home by midnight....

There's a reason for you not trusting your dad's driving. Something happened in the past ...
If you believed your dad was a good and responsible driver, you wouldn't think to limit speed of the truck.

Just trust your gut and don't let him borrow your truck if you don't believe he can take care of it or be responsible for his actions if something bad were to happen. You should always be fully insured for these things too.

I have my idiot employee drive my truck for work. I got GPS tracking via my 2 way Clifford alarm, and know that he speeds on freeway up and to 80-85 sometimes. But in San Francisco area there's negative unemployment rate and it's impossible to find anyone else ...

I'd love to have a way to easily limit speed of my truck to 65mph... Can it be done with tuner? Any info is appreciated

I remember raising the "Speed Limit" on my truck. So I would have to think you could lower it.

But my truck is old.... 2011.

*BTW, I never did hit the 150 mph limiter. Never even close. I'm content to read about others doing it.
