2013 Laramie with projector headlights and what appear to be factory tail lights as well. I often get a rear tail light out message on the dash. In addition, when this happens the left indicator on the dash speeds up as well but exterior directional remain normal speed. I tried to check the rear tail light but it’s factory sealed. It’s weird because the left signal will work normally for days or months and then out of the blue, it goes crazy.

A hyper turn signal seems to be a thing with these - Mine has it except it's on both sides and it's consistent in how it acts too.
Will blink slow 3 times and then engage turbo-mode everytime.

I did have to replace the switch itself a few months back because it had folks wondering if I was drunk or just confused. It would blink in one direction, then start blinking the other direction all on it's own and if I tried to make it do right it would be blinking back and forth across left and right.

However mine isn't indicating a problem but yours is when it happens.
I'd check for basic wiring problems and make sure you don't have a bad ground/connection in play somewhere in the harness - A bad ground can have one do some weird stuff at times.

Since you live where you do, corrosion at a connection point will be the most likely culprit to look for, esp at points where the harness has to make it's ground somewhere.

You probably have a few of the individual led bulbs that make up the tail light out which changes the impedance making the computer think the taillight is out. My 14 has had that for 2 or 3 years on the left side and now the right is starting to do it.

When it first started I checked into replacing the the fixture but at that time RAM wanted $250. Since they still work it was not worth the cost to me to change it and the fast blink didn't bother me. (even less now since I gave it to my daughter to drive).

Every now and

Thanks for the tip on the corrosion and ground issue. I’ll look into those. Happy Thanksgiving to

So how would I go about finding such a ground
