2013 Sway Bar Option

It's weird... did any of you guys who got the chrome clads on your 4th Gens get a rear sway bar in the package too, or is this something new that Ram is doing?

YUP! Have a 2012 Express e/w Hemi, chrome clads, sway bar and traction (long) bars!

I just looked at my new 2012 Express reg. cab and it looks just like that picture but I don't see a sway bar on my truck or in that picture either. That big horizontal bar looks like a Panhard bar to locate the axle from side-to-side. Maybe I'm confused.

You don't have a rear sway bar. That bar is a panhard bar which is part of the 4 link system that every 4th gen 1500 has

I believe less body roll or something like that. Both of mine have had front and rear sway bars so can't comment on ones without it

Which is the sway bar? there is a bar above and below my rear end.

The sway bar in that picture is the one that comes straight out from the differential case. It's connected to the frame and the axle.the one closer to the ground if that helps.

I don't feel like shipping it but if anyone around Houston wants an OEM rear bar from my 2012 R/T you can come pick it up. I think all of the parts are still there.
It only has 500 miles of use.
In fact...you can have the whole damn suspension if you'll tote it off. Front and rear sway bars, springs, shocks, 4 link bars, panhard bar....just get it outta my hair.
Use it...sell it...I don't care I'm just tired of looking at it.

Thanks for that picture. I didn't know that some had a factory anti-sway bar. Has anybody driven both ways to know whether it's worth adding one if yours didn't come with it?
