2013 Uconnect 5.0 Backup camera?

So I have the Uconnect 5.0 and I saw that a backup camera option was available... has anyone added this on to there 13? if so where can I get the parts and how easy was it...

I'm working on this too....the 2013 ram 1500 brochure says uconnect 5.0 is camera ready.......most dealers have been little help.....chrysler/uconnect says it can be done. other threads say it can be done .......got a mopar part number for a kit for model years thru 2012 that Huffines dodge in Texas says they have installed succesfully on 2013's. PART # 82211184. good luck. kits sell for 250-350 on ebay etc install time 2hrs. if your handy. i'm not.

My ST came with the 5.0 and backup camera from the factory?

Thats good to know... if the 5.0's have factory backup cameras then they should be able to install this kind of option is generally plug and play.

Could you connect the rear cam on 2013 ram uconnect 5.0.....???

It is the same situation with the grand cherokee. The dealer says there is no way to add the backup camera to it because of the new electrical architecture.
