I am going to purchase some LED DRLs that need a hot wire and ground. I need a location in the fuse box under the hood to tap into for a hot wire that is only on when the engine is started. Or a wire or fuse box location when the transmission is in drive only but I think that may be a long shot.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Just look at the fuses and find one that is an item that only works when the key is on. Example radio. Etc.

Then use an add a fuse allows the original item to have its fuse and circuit maintained. And gives you the wire lead needed for your lights then ground to the frame.

This is what I used when I wired up my aftermarket head unit as the newer rams don't have an ignition on source for the stock deck.
