I’ve had a lot of questions about the throttle relearn. If I fix my issue but don’t do the throttle relearn, is it not going to show that any codes are fixed? Meaning every time I do something I have to relearn before I know the codes are gone? Cause in that case I’ve probably wasted a lot of time. And last question, does the manual relearn using the pedal and cycling the key actually work or is that just a myth / older models?

manual relearn never worked for me - I found that after a relearn with alfaobd - codes cleared. i replaced the throttle body first - after a few test drives - truck went into limp mode - thats when I dug deeper and replaced oil housing - replacing throttle body did not fix the issue - so it had to be one of wiring - 5 volt reference was the issue - just dont know if it was from the 3way valve - or the sensors on the oil housing. Double check connections and look at wiring carefully - see if rubbing somewhere - or corroded. you already replaced throttlebody - relearn is absolutely necessary.
what errors are you seeing ? just throttlebody ??

the 3 way valve for the eco model which looks identical to the 3.6 except for pin 6 is not there in the eco.

I’m getting high circuit error codes for oil temp, oil pressure, and the 3 way valve. Another code saying the 3 way valve is stuck open. Also getting error for small evaporation leak, and now I’m getting voltage system high, high speed CAN communication BUS, and no valid data data available from ESM on CAN-C or CAN D-PT. I was only getting codes for the sensors and small evaporation leak when I started, so I’m must have done something wrong trying to fix the sensors that’s causing high voltage

I had same - stuck open on 3way and hi /low volt - but sounds like you have something else going on - has to be a funky connection - 3way has a 2nd connection up the same side behind the head light - possible there ? I pulled mine apart and cleaned it out when troubleshooting.

i had evap leak also - but it was the leak detector unit that sits on the gas tank - $25 dollar fix - but a pain to get to.

voltage system high ? got error codes ? if this is an overall error - not specific - could be alternator - battery .. or connections to them
If you ask the group - I guarantee - they will tell you to start there.. (ask me how I know)
also have to ask - is it possible you got a bad 3way valve - not used or china knock off - my having the wrong one - wreaked havoc on me

I am having a similar issue with my Ram. How many miles after installing wrong 3 way coolant valve did you start getting 5v reference problems and ETC problems/limp mode?

maybe 30 miles - before limped - again - error codes never went away - kept coming back if I could get them cleared at all - attached a picture of the correct valve - notice the pins in the connection - wrong valve has 5 pins - not 6
