Hey guys,

I'm new here and I searched the forum and hope this isn't a double post.

I got my ram back in October and I doesn't have tow mirrors. I pull a 30ft camper and don't want to be with out them. My problem is have ordered a set from amazon ( not a cheap set either) and installed them, said they had every I need but when installed all of it worked except the ambient temperature sensors. My truck keep reading 55 degrees unless it set outside all day then it changed.

I returned them and put factory back on. So I was wondering if anyone could help me find some that will work. 1aauto.com said they have nothing that will work for what I need.

My ram mirror just have the temp sensors, heated and power adjust. None of the fancy stuff like power fold or lights.

Any help would be great, I don't want to be without the mirrors but also don't want any of my features not to work.

Thank you for your time

The mirrors below should work just fine. They have the turn signals and puddle lights, but those options simply will not be active on your truck. They should install and work just fine otherwise and they have the temp sensor in the driver's mirror that you need. I'm running the power fold version of the same brand (Trail Ridge) on my 2014 and they are indistinguishable from the OEM ones.

I suspect they told you they didn't have what you needed because they don't want you complaining about the turn/puddle lights not working. There's no difference to the plugs or mounting.

One thing, you really should get the internal bracing brackets if you are moving to the tow mirrors. They keep the mirrors from vibrating at speed and the weight from stressing the door skin. You'll need the following parts:

Right Bracket 68078242AA
Left Bracket 68078243AA
Nut Rivit (6) 6507161AA
Bracket Screw (6) 6508709AA

A good place to get them would be www.allmoparparts.com, they offer free shipping to forum members. Installation is easy, there are several posts about it here.

Thanks kad! I appreciate it. I don't really care if the lights work it would be nice but as long as power adjust, heat and temp sensor work that's all I ask of them. As long as the plug is the same.

Thank you again much apprecited

I don't know if your state has annual vehicle inspection or not, but if it does, the turn signal lights may need to work. It might be worth checking into

Thanks GsRAM. It's missouri and we do have inspection. Never thought of that. So those mirror with turn signals won't work. Thanks for the input that would have sucked if I went ahead with those and got failed with inspection.
Not sure what to do now. Maybe try others, just hate returning if they don't work. Thanks again

That's a good point. Maybe check with the shop you use and find out if auxiliary signals like the ones in the mirrors are part of the inspection. Or if you could paint the lenses black to remove them from consideration. ;)

Could you just swap back to factory mirrors for the day of inspection, then back to the tow mirrors after you pass? People in NY do similar stuff with parts to pass yearly inspections.
