The worst mistake was coming on this lowered section!!!! FML
Every truck I've owned, I've slammed. Why would my new one be different. I was trying to avoid it but after coming here... I'm hooked.
The dealer said I can lower the truck BUT.... they have to install it. I can buy the parts but they install. The truck only has 2000km, so I want to make sure I don't void the warranty.
I want to leave the stock black 20's it came with on the truck. I would love to put some nasty 24's on there but I'm going to wait until I wear these tires out. I'm looking for something nice. I've looked on here and all I see is 2/4 drop. I'm ok with that, as long as it looks proper. I'm not looking to cheap out. I want the same ride quality or better. I've tried to look for kits but I have not found any. The bell tech site only goes to 2013 for Rams.
I'm getting at this... Is springs enough? I've seen some speed wobble threads and that makes me uneasy. I've never dropped a 4x4 before. Stupid question but is it possible? I've only lowered or bagged 2WD before. Any direction you guys can give me would be great.
