Hey Everyone,
I'm new here, and I'm looking for some info. I recently installed a new oem backup cam, and it works but, it does not show the backup lines and is in a 4:3 view not wide view. So I'm guessing it needs software update. is there a way to do an update myself? Doing some reading here i see a program called AlphaOBD, Can it be done with that? and where could i get the software? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance..

AlfaOBD site. Download it and then install. You can pay from the info page after the software starts up.

You'll also need a good bidirectional OBD2 dongle. One of the best is the OBDLink MX+. Most of us use it including me. I use it with Windows 11 and works flawlessly.

This download page explains it all, this pictures

Here is the OBDLink page. It is sold by many vendors.

As far as I know, there is no cam software to load on anything. It is just plug and play then configure in the BCM.

Is your cam an aftermarket or OEM Mopar? The lines are switchable in the BCM and, after all the modules are configured, the lines can be switched on / off on the radio screen in the vehicle setup menus, if you have the 8.4".

Just for fun, here is a PDF of BCM printout. If you have Adobe, open the file up and search for "camera" and see what is configurable. Nothing on there about picture format, 4:3 or otherwise.
