I have a 2014 crew cab with about 2500 miles on it. I am trying to decide on whether I should replace the stock exhaust with a catback Magnaflow system or just replace the muffler and move on. Its about half the cost. How much of a change is there in the piping from the muffler back on those systems. Other than being stainless steel. I am not able to drop 900$ on these systems and it seems like I can get a bolt on magnaflow 14 for half that. Is it something I can do myself? Or shop install?

The bolt on mufflex kits are for sure a great option. I personally went with the Stainless Works catback cause I wanted something different than everyone else around my home town and 5in tips. I can say that I don't regret one bit for spending the money on the catback. It sounds amazing and I was able to install it in my driveway with a couple of jackstands.

Can I just do that bolt on kit with the stock pipes then? Its a single in 3" and a dual 2.5" exit?

Seems like I could just get the same muffler from Moes for about 100$ and have a local shop weld it in place though too? Depending on what they charge me for labor may be cheaper route

You can have them weld it in but if you are like me there is no one in my area that can weld stainless to my standards.
