2014 truck bed vs 2018

I,ve got a chance to buy a canopy for my truck and it's about a three hour drive away. It sits right now on a 2014 ram 2500 and mine is a 2018. Are these truck beds identical? Do they need to be exactly identical for a canopy to fit?

Maybe you and the seller could work out a deal where you meet halfway and swap the canopy. I've done that in the past with some auto parts I've bought where the seller was motivated to get rid of the item...

He won't budge, I have to drive to him. Here is the canopy. It's a well over $2,000 canopy new and he's asking $450 dollars for it. What do you all think? Anybody have any experience with this type of shell?
