When I try to play music with my USB Flash Drive, Ipod, or any external device there is no sound. It shows the song on my screen and that its playing, lets me scroll through the device, but no sound. Am I not doing something right? Happens with USB and Bluetooth. I haven't tried an SD Card.

I was going to say to make sure you are plugged into the correct USB port because one of them is only meant for charging devices. However, I read through your post again and see that you are having the issue with the Bluetooth as well. Have you tried a soft reset on the system by pressing and holding the mute button and the tune button? This will reset and the only thing you'll lose is the time.

Which uconnect are you using? I have the 8.4a and have had to have the dealership reinstall the software twice due to the screen shutting off randomly.

I'm sorry to hear that man. I have taken mine in twice now for my issue. The last time was Friday. On my way home from a buddies tonight the issue popped up again. I love my truck but they have messed up this radio something awful.

I haven't had radio for over a year so for me it's just nice having that.

I'm assuming you are in the armed forces?

I've had this issue to come and go. A few times I unplugged my iPod and plugged it back in after I started the truck and it worked fine after taking about 30 seconds to load. I did the same with my SD card and it did like wise. Bluetooth always works fine but sometimes it takes forever for my devices to start when I'm in media mode. 2014 Long Horn
