UPDATE: After playing around with connecting and disconnecting the hub several times, it's now working.

I've been having issues with Android Auto not working anymore and when my phone is plugged in, it says slow charging and the uConnect display says the device is not recognized. The main recommended fix I found was to get a new media hub. I bought a new Mopar media hub on Amazon and when I got it, no luck. This led me to believe maybe the hub wasn't bad and it's something else. I reached out to the seller to ask about a return. They said with the media hub straight from the factory, it has to be flashed. I thought it was supposed to be plug and play? Can anyone provide insight on this or maybe provide alternative fixes? I already know it's not the cable for my phone as I've tried multiple, even cables that have worked previously. My radio still registers bluetooth fine.

Sometimes it takes the quirky electronics a while to recognize stuff and changes. Patience is sometimes required.

If yours is working now, obviously it does not need to be flashed.
