This has been a long two weeks and I decided to remove the front shaft so I could safely use my truck again. However, I did succeed by removing the 4 bolts, but the shaft didn't slide off like I saw in the video. After spending a few hours in the road without a jack I noticed there was a hefty layer of rust underneath the boot. I soaked it in PB Blaster and after a few minutes I hammered and pried but nothing moved. I would appreciate if anyone could offer some other suggestions to get this to release?
