Hey fella's

Has anyone heard, or read about what " updates " the 2015 model year will bring ?. Everything I have seen so far has just had pictures of the 2014 Laramie Models, or mentioned the ecodiesel.

not much info is out at the moment, i received a document on the specs of the 2015 Ram from another forum but it was exactly as the 2014 brochure and it did not have anything about the supposed refresh.

I'm eagerly waiting for the full details to be released as i want to know if i should stick to my order or not. My dealer has allocation for my 2015 reg cab (after my 2014 was dropped)
But all i know at the moment is that order banks for the reg cab will open by next month end and build will start in September end. And if i stick to my order i'll be expecting delivery in Jan 2015.

im curious to see what the updates are gonna be, as it will determine if I continue to lease into 2015, or decide to buy a used 13/14' next summer.

Everything I've seen shows calendar year 2015 for the minor refresh, so that would most likely be a 2016 year model. Probably won't be any difference in the 2015 trucks, maybe the addition of the stop/start system is my guess.

Maybe they'll bring the 6.4 to the 1500 and offer it in a single cab.... And then I woke up... Oh I wish they would. Lol

^^^^ I wish I could get a 6.4L 1500.

6.4L with 435 HP / 440 TQ would be sick. happy medium between SRT, and HEMI 5.7 power

Wonder if Chrysler will put the 6.4 into the 1500 as a top option, both Ford and GM offer up a 6.2 option, with GM's being basically a 'Vette engine, what 420hp and 460f/t. That is rockin.

my dealer told me that at one of his dealer meetings with chrysler that the 6.4 was planned for the 1500 they where just not saying when. Also he told me to expect rear coils on the 3500's but again they didn't say when.

Yes I have heard also,a Regcab,6ft bed,4:10,R/T 6.4L version. But in all fairness with the success Ford has had with Raptor,Ram should work with AEV and make a serious offroader,Kore never materialized with Mopar. Ram truck division has to work with this vendor for its AEV Jeeps are awesome to say the least, dropping 5.7L in Jeeps makes this company a top drawer design team and Mopar needs to work with these guys and package there kits in affordable kits form, they soon will be producing 3500/2500 frt and rear bumpers, steel wheels, fender flares design to OEM specs.A great company.Dealerships could order a kit and install after the purchase. But without Chrysler purchasing power I imagine the AEV Ram 1500 bumper, wheels, and fender flares will be priced way-out of the common man price range

The suspension guru at AEV is an ex-Jeep/Mopar engineer.
