Hello! I did a search but still didn't get enough info to answer my question. I want to swap out my fog and headlights (low beam only) to LED. 2016 1500 w/o projector lamps and it has horizontal fogs. I see Fahren bulbs are highly recommended but do I have to do any mods to the wiring or is it plug and play? I read about adding relays to the wiring harness or making sure I get "CANBUS" ready? Also, H10 for fog and H11 for low beams? Any info is appreciated.

Zero mods whatsoever!
CanBus ready and plug & play.

Just make sure you get the slim back ones so they fit under the dust caps ;)

Here's the link for reference on the ones to consider.

You might consider doing both low and high beams and buying a 4-pak of bulbs for a deal.

For instance, a 4-pak including a set of H11s & a set of 9005s is only $45.

Plus, the colour difference between LED & halogen will be stark and look weird for you, the driver.

I donated a set of LED bulbs to a friend for low beams, now she's bugging me to fix the high beams, so they match.

Yes, these are the ones ;)
Do them all in one shot as well.

I believe your highs are 9005
Lows H11
Fogs H10 (9140/9145)
** Just ensure you verify your bulb sizes for yourself as well ;)

That Farhen link should have all the bulb sizes to select fromt, too.

Make sure to clock them correctly and adjust if needed so you're not blinding oncoming traffic.

This is my preferred headlight alignment video and what I used for mine.

Good Lord, I went through the reply too fast that I didn't realize you gave me a link! Sorry about that. So that link is for the high and low beam? I get confused because I see H11 can be used for this light and that and 9005 is for this use or that use.

This is what confuses me. There's no mention of H10 for FOG but they advertise this set as "driving lights and/or fog" and then say H11 and 9005. I've emailed them with no success.

These details should be listed in your owners manual. If you're unable to locate the info, call any FCA dealership with your VIN # and they should be able to confirm the correct part numbers.

The projector housings in my '21 use 9005s for both low & high beams, however; same as CanuckRam1313, I believe your 2016 uses the H11 for low beams & 9005s for high beams.

Most vendors will sell you anything you will agree buy but, you're always best to consult your owners manual or a local dealership to confirm.

As @RamDiver indicated, check your manual, or go to the dealership and ask them to run your VIN for bulb size confirmation.

So I’ve had hikari in my
Fogs for multiple years and they have been good just lost light output. I bought some fahrens and put them in the other day and now I have flickering from the PWM. I made changes in alfaodb when I put first set in so not sure why they are turning on and off like my last set. I redid the setting in Alfa and saved again in case soemthing wasn’t right. Do I maybe turn the led setting off for fogs in Alfa and see? Kinda lost as I’ve add the changes in Alfa and it looked like I still had it set correctly

The exact settings I used to get my Fahren's working without issue for several months now.
MY 2015:
VehConfig 3: High Intensity Discharge Headlamps - set to yes
CBC Features: LED Low Beam Lamps Present - set to yes
CBC Features: Front Fog Lamp Dropout Enabled - set to no (if you want them to stay on with high beams)
CBC Extern.Light.Calibr.: Right Low Beam Voltage Regulation - set to 12.0V
CBC Extern.Light.Calibr.: Left Low Beam Voltage Regulation - set to 12.0V
CBC Extern.Light.Calibr.: Right High Beam Voltage Regulation - set to 12.0V
CBC Extern.Light.Calibr.: Left High Beam Voltage Regulation - set to 12.0V

Pretty sure I have the dogs set up that way I never messed with the voltage last time, which I get cuz I hadn’t made cbs he’s with Alfa….but my hikaris were working fine so don’t get why the settings wouldn’t be fine for the fahrens

What’s baffling me
Is my last set worked with how I had the settings in my tablet and now they are both flashing after I swapped polarity on drivers side as that one had left the chat.

I shouldn’t have to worry about the voltage as I’m just running fahrens in the fogs. All the rest I have already with the dropout unless maybe they are can bus ready and I need to click no for led for fog? Doesn’t make sense as I had hikaris working in my 15 before I threw these in.
