So I am very picky and notice just about everything. One day I went to start up my 1500 and did everything the right way, foot down on the brake and pushed the start button. But a couple times now, as soon as I push it, it turns over for 3-5 seconds and shuts off again. I try it again and there's no issues. This problem happens at least 2-3 times a week but the dealership can never duplicate it. Any help would be appreciated cause i'm getting annoyed. :(

I had a similar issue but don't have push button start. It was cause by the auto scan of my Bluetooth OBD reader. I had to set a a fixed protocol of: ISO 15765-4 CAN(11bit 500k baud)
If you have anything plugged into your OBD port, try pulling that to see if the issue goes away.

I have a 2017 sport with push start that does the same thing, about 2-3 times per week it starts the engine for 1-2 seconds then turns off. Dealer had it for 3 days and could not duplicate the problem, does anyone have a fix yet?

Has anyone gotten this problem resolved? I have a 2017 Sport edition with the same problem with 40K miles on it and have had this problem since about 5K miles. I brought it into the dealership I bought it from in Houston at least 5 times for this problem (one of which they kept the truck for 3 months and could not duplicate it). It occurs in multiple places so it is not signal interference with something from my house (like the dealership suggested was the case this last time). I have also had it occur with each key. Any assistance or insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hello C o d y,

We understand your desire to reach a solution for this. If you end up going into the dealer for an inspection, let us know. Our tea is available via direct message and can escalate a case for further handling.
