2016 1500 SSV - cab function

Hello,

I recently purchased a 2016 Ram 1500 SSV (special service vehicle). I really am enjoying this truck. There are some things I’m wondering if someone can help me figure out… 1) how to re-enable the rear doors so they unlock and passengers can get out without help from the outside (was a police truck). 2) how to re-enable the interior lights to come on when door is opened. Currently has a dome light with a 2 directional switch (red/white). Any other advice or how tos are also appreciated!

1St question, they may have removed the inner door handle rod. This will require removing the door panel. Or maybe the child locks are engaged, small flip switch right near the latch assy.
2nd question, they may have unplugged lights, removed fuse or if they are knowledgeable enough, they used ALFAOBD to disable them.

I thought Child locks, open rear door look at the side
Child Lock should be imprinted in the sheet metal

Driver's side rear door, 1 panel removed
There is another panel, if you decide that you need to take the inner panel off, first take off the black rubber inspection cover

Take pictures of the rods & wiring as you go, it can be confusing

Any luck with the dome light? I have a 2015 SSV I just purchased and am also wanting the lights to come on when doors open, and ideally get rid of the white/red on/off switch light installed currently
