2016 ram sport can I add power fold mirrors

I have a 2016 ram 1500 sport came factory with power heated tow mirrors I took them off and installed factory 2015 rebel power fold and bought the factory switch and the modules in the doors are the modules ending in ac please help

I have the trailer hitch package and that package comes with *** floppy ear tow mirrors lmao manual fold

You may need the dealer to flash the code, since it was set up with tow mirrors

My 2016 sport came with the tow package, and I have the power fold non tow mirrors. I'm shocked that they are power fold Though because on the window sticker is says manual fold

There is a couple of power fold mirror mods ...if need be.... you sure the mirror's you bought are power fold.... nevery heard of a Sport that didn't have power fold

Yes they are I tested the open close wires and they folded

Did the dealer add the correct code? The correct code is LER. There are two or three codes that say something similar to power fold but the only code that will actually activate the power fold option is the LER code. If you have the correct modules and master switch with the LER it should work.

What is weird is we looked for the ler code and it wasn't available...

Same here! I thought power fold mirrors were standard on the Ram Sports??

I think they said some trucks don't even allow you to add the code.

I think that's only Tradesman/Express. He should be able to add the LER code to a Sport model.
