2017 2500 wheel question

So first let me introduce myself and I'm not only new to this forum but also a Ford transfer. I currently am a new owner of a Ram 2500 Tradesman currently sitting on 35/12.5/18 wheels/tires. I just purchased it this past weds and my thinking is it has either a 3 or 4 "lift on it currently. I'm considering going up to possibly a 37" tire (would love a 40") but as of now my thinking is a 37 or just keep my 35's. The measurements I have from center of the hub to bottom of the top fender measured out to be 26.5 inches. I'm not sure what the lift is bc the dealership was not very helpful nor am I am able to get underneath do to recent open heart surgery etc. What's your guys thoughts on the measurements and photos supplied as as always in advance, thank you for your time to help.

Nice looking truck! Just measured mine I have 27 and 3/4 from center of hub to fender. I have 3" thuren front springs on mine and 2" icon rear coils with 285 75 18 tires (a skinnier 35"). Edited to add I do not have fender flares on mine.

Kind of looks like you have a coil spacer in the front, but from my phone its grainy when I zoom in so I'm not 100% sure. If you have a spacer sitting on top of the spring just measure that and that's the amount of lift you have. At least for the front. The rear might be harder for you given your situation, but if the front has a spacer the rear probably does also.

You have a spring spacer on top of the spring. So just measure that and that's the amount of lift you have up front. Looks like a 2 or 2.5 inch but that's just guessing.

Also when go to get an alignment done have them set the toe to 0 (also know as thuren alignment specs). Rams spec on the toe cause outside edge tire wear on the front tires.

Measure the actual mounted and inflated diameter of your existing tire. Many 37s turn out to be no taller than some 35s, or at least not enough to matter. If you own a 3500 to tow, lift and tall tires with big sidewalls all work against towing stabilty. You might want to try towing whatever the heaviest trailer is you plan to pull, before making any more changes.
