I bought my truck used with 29k miles on it in June 18. I didn't really notice until after I towed a travel trailer from Nebraska to Ohio in August, but my brakes feel extremely weak. As best as I can describe it is when I'm slowing down on the highway, they work fine. But coming to a complete stop, I have to push the pedal all the way to the floor for it to stop. I've taken it to 3 different dealerships (OH, FL, and TN) and the first 2 said they couldn't feel anything out of the ordinary and sent me on my way. The last dealership said it was a concern as to how much pressure needed to be applied to stop. They drained the system and added new brake fluid. I was in heaven because my brakes worked like they should for a change. Fast forward a month, and now my brakes feel worse than before. It's almost getting to the point I'm not wanting to keep it for winter in Cleveland. My question is, has anyone else experienced anything like this or know of something that needs to be checked that the dealership doesn't want to waste their time doing since its under warranty?

I had a issue somewhat similar i bought mine used about 30k miles the brakes on it where good when i looked at them but after i towed a car on a 4 hour drive they never felt the same i ended us changing out my brakes to a mid-grade pad and nicer rotor just above stock and i haven't had the issue since. But i will note that when I put ceramics on my truck which i ended up returning for the mid-grades i had horrible squealing and issues with overheating on new rotors and pads.

Might want to add braided steel hoses, it will firm up the pedal.
